Biography
Christiane Beer is born in Plauen – Saxony – in 1965. In 1986 she get the degree in sculpture at Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenen Künste in Stuttgart, with Giuseppe Spagnulo. In his atelier she did an internship from 1989 to 1990. In 1993 she wins a scholarship in Milan from Baden-Württemberg Ministry, where she lives until 1994, and she gets a Master in Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenen Künste in Stuttgart. In 1999 she wins a scholarship from Baden-Württenberg Cultural Ministry and in 2002 a scholarship from Bavaria Cultural Ministry. Now, she lives and works in Milan and Munich.
